Nadege Ngu
Nadege Ngu is the Founder and General Partner of Lioness Reserve Capital, LP. Cameroonian-born, with close to two decades of experience in financial markets, she holds a BSc in Experimental Physics from the University of Leipzig and an MSc in High-Frequency Engineering from the Technical University of Munich, both in Germany.
She is the author of The Lioness Trader: How Africans Can Build Wealth in the Global Equity Markets and the creator of the Africa Foreign Revenue Index (AFRI), a proprietary framework for measuring African revenue exposure, published on SSRN in 2026.
Her work centers on the ownership gap: African consumers contribute to the revenues and valuations of global companies while capturing relatively little of the resulting equity ownership.
In 2026, she attended the WTO's 14th Ministerial Conference in Yaoundé as an invited expert. She is trilingual and lives between Atlanta, USA, and Yaoundé, Cameroon.
